A Whole New Package Gone Wild

Filed under: Mazda News, Mazda 3

Mazda 3 came and it immediately received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from car enthusiasts. Reviews written about it were no less than great and because of that, came the Mazdaspeed 3 upgrades. Now, to satisfy even more the patrons of the Mazda 3, Mazda came up with their 2007 Mazda 3 Touring Edition (TE), as part of their Zoom-Zoom Era.

This Touring Edition for Mazda 3 sports a 2.0L DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine, capable of 148 horsepower at 6500rpm and 135lb.ft of torque at 4500rpm. It has a 5-speed manual transmission or enjoy a 4-speed Sport mode automatic transmission.

The interior features and upgrades it is proud to offer tis owners are the iPod connector and auxiliary audio input with switch box, AM/FM CD player complete with 4 speakers, black cloth upholstery, special floor mats and cargo mats with the Touring Edition logo, trip computer with fuel economy/range and average speed data, remote keyless entry system, dual front and front side air bags, power door locks, windows and heated door mirrors, steering-wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls, and a whole lot more.

Of course, if there were added features in the interior of the vehicle, features were also added on its exterior. It is available in Galaxy Grey Mica color, has 16” alloy wheels fog lights, LED taillights, Body-colored bar on front grill, power glass moonroof and it sports the unique Touring Edition badge.

These are real impressive features and specs but they didn’t just focus there as they also put much effort on the steering and suspension specs of the car. It has a rock-an-pinion with electro hydraulic power-assist steering, power-assisted front and rear disc brakes, rear independent multi-link suspension with coil springs and stabilizer, and a front independent strut type suspension also with coil springs and stabilizer bar.

I just hope that these mouth-watering specifications live up to their expectations but I doubt that would be a problem. After all, it was made by the finest hands from Mazda.
